SF Veggie Cafe: Try a meatless meal in Central and stay for the awesome atmosphere and service!
I had a soy protein burger - it was tasty for sure and it came with pumpkin fries which I never had before and they were good too - if I'm eating at a place like this I'm going all the way and ordered an organic soda!
The decor is the real treat to me - all decked out in 1950's style, with those crazy signs and knickknacks that make it fun to visit again and again - I even loved their business cards.
The service was awesome and the owners were accomodating to this "meatatarian" by explaining the dishes that were a bit alien to me, but all sounded good.
Even if you're not a vegetarian, it seems this place is cool to try - just remember to bring cash, this place is so 50's it doesn't except credit cards.

Mon Dieu, mes amis: a crepe feast at Kramp House in Wan Chai
Best Korean Restaurants in Hong Kong are on Kimberly Street in Tsim Sha Tsui
We have a Korean Town on Kimberly Road and this is the place to go for Korean food - just a handful of places (even supermarkets nearby) to eat at and there's usually a line-up of young people but the taste and choice if worth lining up for.
Here's the confusing part: there is a Kimberly ROAD and STREET - you are looking for the quieter STREET for the Korean restaurants not the ROAD where The Luxe Manor Hotel is on with all the wedding shops. Map here:
Some Photos from Insen Yakitori House in Tai Hang
Mushroom stuff chicken skewers were good, the plum sake cocktail was exceptional, the fried rice cakes are always good, mackeral was good, scallops were good - so its a thumbs up, price was on the high side but the service was good and the decor was awesome.

You Can't Call Yourself a Foodie in Hong Kong if You Haven't Been to Bo Innovation
I was treated to a dinner at Bo Innovation last night (my birthday) and I've always wanted to try this place but never got around to it - it's definitely the most creative restaurant I have ever been to.
Concept: reinvent as many classic Hong Kong Chinese dishes into something so crazy you need someone to explain it to you.
You can look at these photos but really, half the fun is having the maitre'D explain to you what you are about to eat - but in these photos you will see (or rather not see) the 100-year old egg, Xui Lung Bao, pineapple bun, cheung fun and a host of other things you need to see to believe.

Taiwan's Hot Star Large Fried Chicken Now in Wan Chai
Hot Star Large Fried Chicken is one of the more popular "street food" places in Taiwan - there is an outlet in Mong Kok but this is the first one on Hong Kong side.
For HK$25 you get exactly what the name of the place is: a giant sized deep fried breaded chicken - kind of like a super thin, super big McNugget. Tasty and an alternative to a slice of Paisano's down the street.
Its one of those cool fad places that will be popular for awhile until the next fad comes along. The TV screen at the outlet shows off that even Japanese people come to Taipei to eat it and love it - even though I'm pretty sure Mos Burger made these things years ago.

Xenri No Tsuki: Nice Sushi Place on Jardine's Bazaar in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
Friend invited me to this small but great sushi place in Causeway Bay called Xenri No Tsuki - 6 of us sat at the sushi bar and they kept bringing interesting sashimi and sushi to us all night.
Sake was good - maybe too good for one table of females that got pretty rowdy but I'm guessing they are the exception to the rule.
Seek it out next time you're looking for a new sushi place to check-out in CWB.

Green Waffle Diner is the only place for soul food in Hong Kong
If you know Rosco's Chicken and Waffles in LA and always wanted it to be in HK, then get yourself down to Green Waffle Diner in Central.
All day breakfast like the steak and eggs skillet shown here, fried chicken, waffles, chili cheese dogs and even Rueben sandwiches in 2 sizes! I usually like Classified, Flying Pan or Post 97 for this kind of breakfast in HK, but will be fighting for Foursquare mayorship of this place starting now.
UPDATE: Added 2 more photos of chocolate chip pancakes 3-stack and The Rueben - both delicious!
